4 - Traffic Rules

The King issues general rules for vehicular, equestrian, and pedestrian traffic.

The Ministry may issue special traffic regulations for a municipality or part of a municipality. The Ministry may delegate such authority to the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (Statens vegvesen), or by regulation, grant such authority to the municipality or local police authorities.
