18 - Requirement for Alcohol Lock in Vehicles Used for Commercial Transport
The Ministry may, by regulation, stipulate that an alcohol lock must be installed in vehicles used for transport for compensation, and issue further provisions on the approval, installation, and inspection of the alcohol lock. The costs of acquiring, installing, and inspecting the alcohol lock shall be borne by the operator of the commercial transport. The Ministry may issue further provisions regarding the scheme, including regulations on its scope, which groups of vehicles are covered, and requirements for corrective actions during roadside inspections.
