2 - Definitions

In this Act, "road" also refers to streets and squares, including parking areas, bus stops, bridges, ferry terminals, or any dock directly connected to a road.

"Vehicle" refers to any device designed to move on the ground without rails. "Motor vehicle" refers to a vehicle propelled by an engine.

The Ministry may decide to classify other devices as vehicles under this Act or exclude certain vehicles from being considered as such. The King may decide the extent to which provisions of this Act apply to trams or other rail vehicles on or across roads.
